Cold insulation is usually more complicated than normal hot insulation because it is necessary to consider possible moisture penetration, which could adversely affect the insulating performance and properties of the material.
For these reasons, closed-cell materials such as PIR, PUR, or FOAMGLAS are normally used, and one or more vapor barriers are also normally applied.

Elastomer: Optimum use temperature from -30°C to +110°C
