MATERIALS USED IN HOT INSULATION :
Hot insulation is almost always carried out in plants where temperatures exceed 50°C There are different types of insulation to deal with the problem of high temperatures. We list the materials to be used by temperature:
- Glass wool : Optimum use temperature 200°C
- Rock wool : Optimum use temperature 300°C
- Elastomer : Optimum use temperature from -30°C to + 110°C
- Ceramic fiber : optimum use temperature 400°C
- Glass felt : Optimum use temperature 400°C
- Calcium silicate: Optimum use temperature from +100°C to +1200°C
- Super Mat: Optimum use temperature from +100°C to +1000°C
- Pyrogel XT-E
